Snowshoeing in Lapland

Snowshoeing opens up the entire Lapland landscape. Step off the groomed trails and into the pristine wilderness — through snowy forests, across frozen bogs, and up fell slopes where no one else has walked. It's one of the most peaceful winter activities and needs no skill beyond walking. You can rent snowshoes from gear hire shops in both Levi and Ylläs. Guided tours, including moonlit and aurora trips, are also on offer.
