Kayaking & Canoeing in Lapland

The Ounasjoki river flows through the heart of Kittilä and offers great paddling routes. The Kapsajoki river trail is a 95km route from Pyhäjärvi to Sirkka (Levi) with twelve landing spots. Around Ylläs, the lakes and rivers of the national park offer peaceful paddling through untouched wilderness. Gear rental is available locally. No experience is needed for lake paddling. Guided tours are offered for river routes.
